1) What do you think is the most important theme in the book and why?
In my humble opinion I believe Teamwork is necessary to achieve anything great in life. Without teamwork you will end up nowhere or in the case of the hunger games you would be dead ): .
2) Do you think if there hadn't been the initial rule change that Katniss or Peeta would have won? Why or why not?
I think that Katniss would have won because Peeta did not have it in him to kill Katniss if the time came. He loved Katniss and could not even fathom hurting her on purpose. She on the other hand might kill him if it would help feed her sister and her family.
3) What do you think drove Katniss and Peeta to victory?
They both had not only the will to live, but they also had the will to win the tournament and still have goodness and still be themselves afterwards. Their attempt to get through the tournament without letting the tournament define who they are is their driving force.
4) Do you think Katniss and Peeta will be forced to live a life together? Do you think Katniss and Gale would ever work out?
I think that they will be forced to live together because of the way that she handled the ending of the games. I think that Katniss and Gale will work out but in the third book maybe, it will take some time.
5) What is your prediction for the next book with the 75th Hunger Games?
I believe that the Hunger Games will be the most violent and destructive of all Games. I think that a main character will die. I also believe an important person will be chosen for the next games.
